A Wayne’s World View Reflection
In recent days, headlines—especially out of Minnesota—have spotlighted serious allegations and fallout hitting Democrats hard. A massive welfare fraud scandal has rocked the state, forcing Gov. Tim Walz to abandon his re-election bid amid investigations and scrutiny. Some on the right are cheering these developments like a political touchdown. But if we’re popping champagne over scandal, we’ve missed the deeper truth about what’s really unfolding—and what true accountability demands.
A Prophetic Word from Kim Clement
Many are revisiting a word from prophetic minister Kim Clement today. In his “Strange July” prophecy from June 14, 2014, he declared:
“Is it that possibly the Spirit … an uncovering of great evil and I will start from the top. I have shaken the Democrats, and will shake the Republicans even more… when these tremors and these tumultuous moments happen… many shall fall and many shall rise from the dust.”

This word, spoken over a decade ago, described a shaking that would begin with one party but extend to the other. It wasn’t about partisan wins—it was about exposure from the top down.
Why This Matters Beyond Politics
God’s heart isn’t in scoreboard politics. When wrongdoing surfaces in any camp, cheering it as “our side’s victory” turns justice into gloating. The shaking Clement described isn’t for one team’s triumph—it’s for revealing truth, exposing hearts, and calling everyone to repentance and righteousness.
We serve a God who judges all—left, right, or center—by the same unchanging standard.
Biblical Anchors for Reflection
Scripture never treats divine shaking or exposure as a spectator sport. It’s always a call to sober reflection.
Hebrews 12:26–27 (ESV): “At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, ‘Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.’”
This reminds us that God shakes to remove what’s unstable, leaving only what can stand forever. It’s purification, meant to breed humility—not triumphalism.
Psalm 94:16 (ESV): “Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers?”
When evil is uncovered anywhere, our response should be a cry for true justice, not party points.
Micah 6:8 (ESV): “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
This cuts straight through the noise: justice tempered with mercy, all wrapped in humility.
A Call to Pause, Not Pontificate
This isn’t left versus right—it’s righteousness versus pretense. If exposures just fuel our gloating, we’ve already fallen into the decay the shaking aims to purge.
The real question isn’t “Who falls next?” but “What will we learn before the shaking reaches us?” God’s discipline is always corrective, never vindictive (Hebrews 12:5–11). He longs for turned hearts, not rejoicing over others’ downfall.
As Clement warned, the tremors start at the top—but they don’t stop there. Let’s use this season to pursue justice, embrace humility, and align with God’s heart for our nation.
I’m Wayne—and that’s my world view. What’s yours?
